International students can now travel to Canada effective October 20, 2020
International Students who were in duel state of mind whether or not they can travel to Canada for their studies can take a sigh of relief , Come October 20,2020, international students attending a designated learning institution that has been identified by their provincial or territorial government as having a COVID-19 readiness plan will also be able to enter Canada.
This was announced in by a news release in Ottawa that was held on October, 02, 2020 by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Minister Marco E. L. Mendicino, Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness Minister Bill Blair and Health Minister Patty Hajdu today announced about the same.
This means that the government of Canada is slowly but surely easing out the travel restriction that was placed for international students since COVID-19 outbreak in Canada which was in mid of March. Some international students even went back to their home country while others stayed back in anticipation that their school will resume back in fall 2020 and they will not be able to attend school due to travel restriction that was put in place in the light of pandemic.
